Ephemeral. Inevitable character of all that lives, and yet, the one that gives life all of its richness, importance and meaning. These photographic images are the fruit of my personal reflections not only on my own finiteness, but also that of the people who are close to me, the ones I love, and the end of all that surrounds me. The subject matter of these images is the plant kingdom. They capture an organic density that belongs to the complexity of tangles of cellular matter created in the places where the boundaries of the living and the dying merge. My purpose with these photographs is to reveal how I perceive the vulnerability of these organic universes by observing the fragility of their existence, and by capturing the ephemeral nature of these life forms.
